Just got my Framework 13 Pro in today, and Bazzite being my preferred distro right now, it’s what I tried to install first. Unfortunately, the installer is loading to a black screen, and remains on that black screen for 10+ minutes with no change. I need to do some more digging to see what’s going on, it does seem like it’s not frozen (it reboots or shuts down on command), but stuck for some reason.
Plain Fedora 44 KDE Edition has no such issues. So I probably also need to take this to the Bazzite forum for investigation, but I thought I’d post it here for awareness.
The installers only get built once in a while; they’ve been a source of problems for a long time for me. The best approach is use a nightly of rawhide bootc/atomic desktop - then use bootc switch bazzite-:stable
