Can no longer update windows

Hello,
A while back when I updated the AMD adrenaline my screen was black and had to force shut down.
Went through a whole thing with it and turned out there was some issue with updating through AMD so re installed FW drivers bundle and have since not updated through adrenaline.

** just checked, there is not even an option for an update through adrenaline and last update was Oct 24**

However I cannot update windows because when I do and it restarts I have the black screen again and have to force shut down. Windows repairs and goes back to restore point.

Any tips on what I should do from here?

I have a similar problem, seems to be caused by having over 32GB of RAM. Similar situation on Reddit - Dive into anything (non-framework, but similar issue)

Had a look, thanks for that.

While not for framework they are saying that AMD is supposedly releasing an update in March.

I wonder if that would work for us too?

I sure hope so :slight_smile: Time will tell, I wonder if there are no reports because there are almost no windows users with >32GB on the FW13.

I just updated with the newly released FW 13 driver bundle and everything went smoothly.
However when I updated windows, the issue the new driver release was supposed to address (black acreen) occured during the installation and I had to force a shut down then roll back the windows update.
