Cant get DP expansion card to work on LMDE 6 faye for Framework 13 AMD edition

Hello there, I recently got my DIY edition framework 13 AMD ryzen 5 7640U cpu . I installed linux mint debian edition 6 faye on it, however when I connected my monitor via DisplayPort, it wouldn’t show up in linux mints display setting.

FYI I used the DP expansion card on the second slot to left, not the right.

I don’t know what to do. If someone experienced in this realm for the non-ubuntu version of linux mint could help me resolve this, it would be appreciated.

Please check, if you’re not using DisplayPort in wrong slot. There’s one slot, which does not work for display output.

I used DisplayPort Expansion on the forth slot as oppose to the first 2 on the left side of the laptop. I think I got it to work now.
