Can't get external monitor working in Windows 11 (7040 series)

  • Which OS (Operating System)? Windows 11 Pro
  • Which Framework product (Laptop 13) and which generation of CPU (AMD 7040 Series)

Recently, my external monitor stopped working with Windows, both with and without my external GPU. I tried to reinstall the drivers, but that didn’t help. I tried different cords and nothing helps.

It works just fine with Bluefin Linux, both with and without the external GPU.

I figured it out. Under the device manager, I needed to enable the external GPU. It’s working now.
