Try to make sure that nothing is pressing against the display cable and damaging it. Also while you do that, it wouldn’t hurt to try and plug in the connectors again. Make sure that all of them are tight and if there are any ribbon cables, make sure the white line is completely in the connector before closing it.

I had already re opened the laptop and repluged the screen cable. Nothing seems to be damaging the cable. After replacing the hinges. I was able to boot and get into windows. It’s when i closed the lid , then tried to test again then i didn’t see the framework logo. Just a blank screen. I can hear the fan running.

How did you route the screen cable? Seems like when it’s closing is disconnecting. A bezel off picture might be an idea

It is very possible that the screen cable is getting damaged on the closing of the device. Try checking the condition of the cable when you are closing the lid. If it is scraping, try to realign it to stop the scraping. You can also try getting a piece of tape to help secure it.

Hello, it is definitely the routing. When i move the screen lid a bit the computer boots and is fully functional. Here are pictures of the routing. Please explain on how to rout the wiring properly. Thanks again for all your help

Does the cable move freely? Its not pinched by the hinge when it got screwed down? Boot the computer without bezel and input cover by using tiny power switch on mainboard near top right corner of ram. Wiggle the cable portion thst is laying on the hinge. May e the cable has a break inside.

Read the guide carefully

I will check when i get home. Thanks. I think the thick wire webcam wire is under the hinge. When installing the hinge i didn’t want to pull too much or force that wire to rout in front of the hinge. I didn’t want to break anything. It was hard to see how that wire was supposed to go on top of the right hinge . I didn’t want to force anything. Any suggestions or tips on placing the wire in front of the right hinge?
