Constant Phantom USB Disconnects (Windows 11)

I keep getting the message USB device not recognized over and over. I don’t even have anything connected to the laptop. Sometimes it’ll go away for awhile but you can hear the chime as if it’s connecting or disconnecting a device with USB. I have the latest Framework bundle drivers installed and I have the latest 3.07 BIOS. It’s driving me insane.

Update: I checked the EMI shielding and one of them was smashed against a port. It seems Framework added another layer of black tape to prevent shorting but it doesn’t appear to be helping. It seems to have fixed the issue for now… will update if it comes back.
