I understand that the FW13 Intel option only supports DDR4 but can anyone at FW confirm if it will be available with the FW16? Is there some kind of hardware obstacle that is preventing Intel boards compatibility with DDR5?
There is no hardware obstacle, they are just using DDR4 to prevent wastage on upgrades. The AMD variant supports DDR5 only. Until Framework announces the rest of the information about the FW 16 you won’t hear much from them.
