I’ve been using DDR5 64 GB 5600MHz SODIMM CL40 Kingston FURY Impact PnP (2x32GB) KF556S40IBK2-64 for some 13 months now.
I see there is a note about using 64GB and the kernel version. However, I’ve started using Framework 13 with kernel 6.8. So the requested patch should have been in place. Recently, I started to encounter issues, which I’ve described in separate topics.
In the list of officially supported DDRAM, I see the KF556S40IBK2-32 is supported, although with Limited validity. Anyways, I’m having serious issues that ware partially solved by swapping the memory modules to spare 2x16GB part.
