Dead Key Combinations?

I’m trying to use certain operations in a number of programs and Ctrl-Shift-X doesn’t seem to work. Each key works individually, but not all three. X seems to be the only key that doesn’t work with the Ctrl-Shift combination and I can’t imagine why. It’s a pretty common operation in most software so I’d really like to not have this issue.

Any insight is appreciated. Thank you.

I had noticed this before, but forgot about it…thanks for bringing it up. It looks like the AMD software is blocking it.
To Fix:

  1. Hit windows key and type amd
  2. Select AMD software
  3. Click the gear icon on the top left hand corner
  4. Click on Hotkeys
  5. Under performance Hotkeys remap or delete the hotkey combo for “Toggle Performance Overlay Profile”

I had my doubts, since the X key just wouldn’t register on the keyboard tester site I used, but this worked! Thank you!!!
