Since BIOS update 3.09 (released November 18th, 2025) was installed on my Framework 13 laptop, my delete key has been experiencing intermittent issues. Under Arch Linux and Windows 11, the delete key refuses to work. I have opened the laptop and reseated all ribbon cables and connectors going to the touchpad and motherboard, which temporarily fixes the issue but it eventually returns. I have also discovered that flashing the BIOS again temporarily fixes the issue somehow? I don’t know what’s going on, if it’s Linux causing this issue, or what. I use the delete key frequently in my workflow and not having it working is extremely frustrating. I do not want to pay for a new input cover if I don’t have to.
