Hi there, I amFacing keyboard issue.
Delete key was working fine until a week back. It was in regular usage.
Immediately sought forum for guidance, and found a guideline someone recommended.
Gradually the key press was becoming inert. Now the key was not detecting any press.
I tried cleaning but still the key is not working. I use the framework laptop for typesetting/editorial workflow.
Replacing the whole keyboard doesn’t make sense - to resolve problem in one key.
Pls help.
Try carefully tightening all of the keyboard screws. There are many, and they apparently are easy to strip, so take your time, be careful, and good luck. Hopefully that helps.
Are you on windows, linux?
Perhaps a key remapper to move delete to a key that you don’t use much.
Other people have has had their delete key die Broken delete key - like literally stopped working
This looks like a serious hardware issue. Sad.
I will see if i can cover in warranty. need to check.
also will check if i can properly tighten the screws as suggested in discussion thread.
