Disable hall sensor

Sometimes I place magnet(s) near (or under) the laptop. That makes the keyboard and touchpad to disable.

Knowing that it’s indeed the function to detect lid close, but to me it’s more like a bug. Is it possible to disable the hall sensor via ectool ?
