DisplayPort over USB-C unreliable (AMD Ryzen 5 7640U)

I’ve had my Framework 13 since last week, and one ongoing issue I’ve noticed is with external displays that have their own power supply (i.e., displays that also charge the laptop via USB-C). When I connect one of these displays, there’s often no signal initially—I typically have to unplug and reconnect the cable around six times before the display is recognized and starts working. Can confirm that on two different laptops this isn’t an issue.

Port 1 and 3 is used for USB-C. Tried on Ubuntu, Fedora and Arch but it doesn’t seem an OS issue. I also have the latest BIOS. (fwupdmgr). Can the Framework team please have a look into this. It seems that this issue isn’t new, but I could be mistaken.
