Does the boot get faster after the update?

I just got my mainboard, and the bios is taking several minutes to boot. Is this normal? Will it improve after I update the bios, or should I just get used to it?

Also it’s not showing the framework logo, just one underscore during that bios boot time. Is this also normal?

It’s the first full boot. The system is training memory. After that you are good and will be much quicker.

Edit: I might be mixing this up with the FW12 laptop. What bios version do you have @Guest521 - Asking because of [TRACKING] Fedora 43 slow to boot (update: because of System Firmware 3.04) - #3 by Jack_Woodhead

It’s LFSP0.03.03. I haven’t been able to get it to boot into kubuntu 25.10 yet, it’s got the RSEED32 bug going on.
