Does the DIY edition of the framework laptop (with windows selected) have it installed in the SSD already?

Exactly what it says on the tin. I’m looking to buy a framework 13, and I’m wondering whether the SSD will have it preinstalled, or if I’m just buying a windows 11 key, and will still need to install windows manually. Thanks much!

You’ll need to install Windows yourself as you’ll just get a key.

For the DIY, the SSD is brand new and in its own sealed packaging so you will have to install all the components (RAM, wifi card, SSD, expansion cards) then install Windows using the key.
