I recently noticed that my storage expansion card was delivered without screws. It’s really not a big deal to me as the card holds together fine without them. Support kindly provided me with the specs as I didn’t expect them to put two tiny screws on a plane for me.
Here’s where I (or anyone looking for replacement screws) need your help though: I seem to unable to find screws of that spec at a EU retailer, at least none that are a considerable upgrade over just having none. Something’s always off, be it head shape, diameter or something else. The specs are as follows:
- diameter: 1.2mm
- length: 3.0mm
- thread pitch: 0.25mm
- head: 2.9mm T5 flathead
I don’t expect anyone to search far and wide, but I figured since there are probably a lot of people here who have some experience repairing electronics, maybe someone knows a good source for such screws. Thank you in advance!
