Thanks for the additional info – much appreciated. In addition to alleviating the PSU fan noise I’d also like to reduce the CPU fan noise under heavy load, though I’m hoping to do that with better air flow and case fans vs capping the CPU fan. I’ll keep looking at case options/reviews.

Just to follow-up, the Jonsplus Z20 case looks promising: 164mm clearance for a tall air cooler, room for additional case fans, ATX/SFX PSU. Somewhat bigger than the Terra, but not unwieldy.
I also added an USB powered fan on the PSU Extra cooling on FW Desktop
