This is fantastic… however Fedora 43 Workstation and SilverBlue only use Wayland which doesn’t play well with Citrix… Should 42 also work or does the new Frame 16 rely on a newer kernel (or other)? [I just spent 1 day fighting this…] Fedora 42 still has X11… but Fedora 43 doesn’t.
a bit late but I only just saw your post.
Gnome might no longer support x11, but KDE does.
Fedora 43 still has the plasma-workspace-x11 rpm in it’s repositories.
Drawback is that the nvidia drivers from rpmfusion also no longer support the x11 so if you want to use the nvidia expansion you are still on your own.
I currently work with citrix every day for my job and it works ok-ish with wayland and kde-plasma. (using the linux ica citrix client)
Dual monitor use however is broken with the ica linux client.
So I use only a single screen for citrix.
Dual monitors work fine in the web based light citrix client in firefox for me.
For some reason dual monitors do not work for my wife using the citrix light web version. Since she has exactly the same setup, I can only conclude that it must be something on the server side as she works for a different company.
