I am excited to have received my framework12 today! It’s perfect except the trackpad is slightly off.. is there something I can do to fix it? Sorry maybe it’s a bit nitpicking but it’s going to bother me and I should probably ask now since I just got it.

Fortunately, it’s easy to adjust, but it is a bit fiddly to get it exactly right.
If you remove the input cover and flip it over, there are some screws (I don’t remember how many, maybe 5-7) around the touchpad. If you just very slightly loosen them, you can shift the trackpad around. Once you get it centered, gently snug the screws.
It will sometimes shift around a bit while you tighten the screws, so it’s a little fiddly to get exactly right. I found that it’s easier if you loosen the screws only enough that you can shift the trackpad around, but it takes a little bit of force (not much force, but just not so loose that it freely flops around). That way, once you get it where you want, you can gently snug up the screws and it’s less likely to shift around while you do so.
It might take a couple tries to get it right.
