every now and then after clicking, the touchpad of my new Laptop 12 remains in the clicked position. this mechanical problem causes all kind of trouble
apparently the touchpad is not properly placed inside the input cover.
at the bottom left it is sunk significantly into the input cover
whereas it is almost flush at the bottom right.
shall i remove the touchpad
?

I just noticed this on mine too, bottom right click gets stuck 
Followed this and it now works fine!

I ordered a Framework 12 and had this exact same issue, even trying to adjust it manually didn’t work. It’s a work laptop so we had to get it working asap so I was hopeful that just ordering a replacement keyboard/touchpad would just work, but that one also had the exact same issue. Next step is to try and adjust this one manually, but overall I’d say this is quite disappointing.
