I’ve got a Framework 13 AMD laptop that is running Windows 11 Pro. I’ve had it for about 3 weeks now and I’m happy with it. I’m having one problem with it and I’ve not found anything online that has succeeded in resolving the issue.
I’m unable to issue a WOL magic packet to wake it up when it is in S0 sleep. I’m also unable to successfully schedule a wake timer to wake it up when it is in S0 sleep. The wake timer just isn’t working in S0 mode. This is causing problems for my backup server which can’t communicate with the laptop. I’ve tried disabling “fast startup” but that didn’t help.
Has anybody figured out how to get their Windows 11 Framework 13 laptop to wake up in a way that doesn’t require them to wake it up from the keyboard/mouse?
Thanks,
Bryan
