Hi all,
I’ve been experiencing an issue with my Framework 13 AMD (Ryzen 7 7840u, 64GB RAM, Windows 11) where the laptop refuses to wake from sleep.
Here’s what happens:
- I close the lid to put the laptop into sleep mode.
- When I reopen the lid, instead of waking, the power button starts doing slow flashes, similar to hibernation mode.
- The laptop becomes completely unresponsive: no reaction to keyboard presses or even holding down the power button to wake it.
- The only way to recover is to force shut down the laptop by holding the power button until it turns off, and then booting it up again.
I’ve attached a screenshot from powercfg /SleepStudy
, where you can see the Abnormal Shutdown following the sleep session.
Has anyone encountered similar behavior or have any advice on troubleshooting this? This is not the first time I have encountered this issue. Problem with this issue is that it is hard to reproduce as its occurance is random.
Thanks in advance!
