I have a Windows 11 Home Framework 13, with an Intel 13th gen.
Randomly, the boot up time was more than 5 minutes when all the ports where plugged in, with 2 USB Cs, 1 USB A and 1 SD card. After trying to uninstall and reinstall the drivers this did not help. Additionally, when booting up, the LED shows the expected white → green → orange → green sequence. In testing this, I found that if i remove the expansion cards, this would boot up the computer quickly with the fingerprint and camera working. If i then try and reboot with the expansion cards installed, it takes a very long time and the ports don’t work. I have verified that they do output power for anything plugged in for a brief second before losing power, and the USB C ports can take in power (to charge) the computer.
I have also tried to plug in USBs through both the USB C and A ports and they are not being recognised by the device. I didn’t change anything in my settings before I closed the lid of my computer the previous night.
have you restarted the computer?, note that shutdown and boot isn’t the same thing, as shutdown in windows is closer to sleep or hibernate on a system level.
Have you updated the bios, and installed any relevent firmware or driver?
Having the Same issue right now and had to reach out to support. Nothing has solved yet but I recommend reaching to support sooner than later as it can be slow going back and forth overnight. There a numerous threads here of the same issue, all resulting with a mainboard repair or replacement being required. I honestly hope they find the root issue and publicly disclose it.
My issues occurred after running the battery flat and getting same symptoms.
