Framework 13 Ryzen 7040 Keyboard Question

Hello there, I own a Framework 13 7040 and I bought it back then with a German keyboard layout. As I have switched to a British English layout everywhere else now, I was thinking of doing the same with the laptop. My question now is, are the input covers generally compatible to all the keyboard layouts? Can I just buy the BE variant and exchange it or do I need a new cover as well?

Yes, they’re compatible. So you can either buy a british input cover, or just the british keyboard, but then you’ll have to work with lots of tiny screws, so make sure you’re patient and don’t strip these if you want to use that approach.

I’d personally recommend buying the british input cover and possibly selling the old one.
