Is anyone else having issues where the GPU is causing problems when launching games?
I have the latest bios and am up to date with whatever drivers was updated via amd adrenaline and nothing is working. I keep getting this error on multiple other games and it is frustrating as there is nothing more i can update. I updated drivers, bios, os, and still nothing.
Any Suggestions?
Yeah,I’m running into the same issues, it only began a few days ago. I’m looking into either a driver rollback or windows update rollback.
EDIT: I just rolled back to 26.2.2 from AMD’s website and I am showing some initial success. I am also on windows 11 pro 25H2, with the 7040 and 7700S
I had the same thing start happening suddenly a couple of days ago, ended up rolling back to driver version 26.1.1 and it’s been fine since. May try updating to 26.2.2 and see if it’s still fine then, though. My config is Ryzen 7 7840HS and RX 7700S, Windows 11 Pro 25H2. The faulty driver version in my case was 26.3.1 iirc.

Small update: driver version 26.2.2 seems to work fine as well.
Actually, it seems to still cause the same issue. One annoying work around is to keep reinstalling the drivers to make the games work.
this is super annoying, but hopefully they find a proper fix
