I have some issue with the fans on my framework. Using Dustin L. Howett / ectool · GitLab I can manually set the fans to spin, but on auto they don’t really activate at all.
If I stress-test the CPU, temperatures reach 100 degrees at which the cpu starts throttling itself to maintain 100 degrees.
I think it has to do with how my EC is configured. When I run ectool temps all I can see that the fan is set to start spinning when the cpu reaches 376K or nearly 103 degrees celsius.
Is there a way to configure the temperature thresholds for the fan? Or do I have to reflash the whole EC?
