Framework Laptop 16 AMD Ryzen™ 7040 Series Driver Bundle v3.00 2025_10_14 Release BETA - Held

v3.01 is released Framework Laptop 16 BIOS v4.02 and Driver v3.01 Releases (AMD Ryzen™ 7040 Series) STABLE

Since we were waiting for NVIDIA to add our ID to their latest public driver and also needed to validate the AMD public driver, we have decided to hold the current version in beta.
We will release a new Driver Bundle 3.01 later today which includes support for the latest NVIDIA and AMD public drivers.

The version number has jumped to 3.00 because this new bundle now includes drivers for both the AMD and NVIDIA-based Graphics Modules for Framework Laptop 16.

Installed Framework Laptop 16 AMD Ryzen™ 7040 Series Driver Bundle v3.00 2025_10_14 Release BETA no issues

Still waiting for a feature to select which drivers we want to update/install. For example, I switched my wifi card to a wifi7 card and do not need drivers installed for the amd RZ616 to where it might mess with things until I go and uninstall again right after. Also, don’t use Nvidia nor do I plan to.

Just extract the package and then you have all different drivers you can install

Oh, so you are saying they did change it then? It used to be when you extracted there was only one .exe and it just installed everything. I will have to try it then.

Edit: Worked like a charm, thanks Marc.

it is exe file but in reality it is self extracting 7zip or zip file. If you change extension you should be able to extract any driver. I’ve just done it.
