I was wondering for those who repurposed the framework mainboard into kinda like a desktop like case (there’s even a adapter for ATX cases like this).
I was wondering are there any larger size coolers that are compatible with the mounting solution on the framework mainboard? Something like the size of a desktop cooler.
That being said, can the Framework run without the fan pin connector attached?
I was thinking of a hacky solution where you get those larger aluminium block downdraft coolers and drill some holes, tap them and mount it over. Or even something like that huge Playstation 3/4 aluminium heat sink with that giant blower fan.
Or maybe even a giant aluminium passive fin stack.
