Fresh Install of Ubuntu 24.04 no wifi device found

I’ve looked at wifi issues in the community, and I’m just checking that framework and ubuntu haven’t addressed the no wifi device found issue that persists since 20.04?

Can you provide more details? Looking at the guide at least as of 22.04 everything should have worked right off the bat.

How embarrassing!
During installation, at probably the third frame, there was a screen about connecting to the internet. It said that no wifi device was found. I continued the installation, which went to completion. I rebooted, and logged in, and found no icon for the wifi. That’s when I posted. A little later I opened system settings and found the several normal wifi networks actually visible. So, it seems that during the installation, the system found drivers and installed them. The wifi is working really well. So, sorry for the APB, but thanks very much for the response.
