Hello,

I am new to using Linux as well as installing operating systems. I recently received my Framework Laptop 13 and followed the Ubuntu 24.04 LTS installation guide. I started the installation process and ran into a problem.

When I am prompted to connect to wifi my network is found, but when I try to connect to my wifi network the installer progress wheel keeps showing that it is still trying to connect and will not successfully finish the connection process.

I have read that people were having issues with wifi stopping to work on 24.04 Ubuntu, but I have not read about anyone having this issue specifically?

I am hoping I am missing something simple as I am new to this.

Hi Ray,
I am on Kubuntu 24.04. There seems to be a bug in the Network-Manager. When i change a setting or delete an entry in the Network-List it takes 20-30 seconds till an Error-Message pops up saying the Settings couldn’t be changed (but they are changed). This also happens when i set up a Wifi-Connection. How long did you wait for the connection process to be ready?
