The “shipping soon” email doesn’t mean that they dispatched your order, but collected the full payment and released your order for packaging.
A email is supposed to come after that with a notification that your package has been handed over to FedEx, which also contains a tracking number, but a lot of people have not received that one yet.
It seems the pallet my package was on did get stuck in customs in Indianapolis. Not unexpected, but still a bit disappointing. Oh well!
Does anyone know if someone has to be present to sign? I am out of town until the 2nd and have asked my neighbor to grab it from my porch just in case, but don’t want delivery to fail

Batch 9, my order just shipped! No RAM or SSD. Estimated delivery in the US is Dec 29.
I’m assuming you checked your spam? If you don’t have the emails in spam I would suggest contacting support because my batch 9 (no ram, no ssd) shipped yesterday (23rd) with an estimated delivery date of next week Dec 31st.
Batch 9, EU, paid in full 21/12, no shipping notice yet, and no status change on the website as of yet.

Yep I checked spam. I reached out to support, basically they said that there was a delay with the 64 GB of RAM but it was still expected to come by the end of the year. Really unfortunate that mine comes later because of the spec that I happened to order 
Woo! We’re batch buddies! I haven’t seen any other people mention that they’re part of batch 10 either, so there might not be many of us.
I commented some way back up there as I’d intentionally waited until batch 10 to order as I’m currently put of the country for the remainder of the year and didn’t want to risk my new baby arriving whilst I was elsewhere.
Our configs are very similar by the looks of things. I actually need to go back and update my post as I’ve made a few changes since I placed the order.

Speaking of batch 10;
Since batch 9 people are getting their laptops shipped, does this mean batch 10 might be shipped around January? Or is it safe to assume those will be shipped months later at the end of Q1?
I was in a first batch for the Desktop in q4 2025 (batch 12 I think) and I got the shipping prep notice on 01/10, any earlier than that and it’d still have been q3, so I’m fairly confident we’ll only be a week or two into January before we get our prep emails.
Of course these are different products with different problems which could affect shipping, but I’m confident we’ll have them by mid-late Jan. But if not, as frustrating as it’ll be to wait, we will get them and just pull up our patient pants.
My Batch 9 DIY package (no RAM, no SSD) was released to FedEx today at ~13:45 CET+1 . It is now on it’s way to the airport in Taiwan and is set to fly to the Netherlands tomorrow.
Expected arrival time here is currently 31 dec 2025. So just before January! \o/
Shipped this morning. Expected arrival December 30th.

I’m batch 9 and experiencing similar, checking the tracking over the past few days it’s said “Import delay” in TN before going back to “On it’s way” in Japan a couple times. I’m wondering if they’re a bit behind due to the holidays or something.
