it’s heeere! my bargain bin ssd hasn’t arrived yet, so i’m putting my os on a usb flash drive for now, i’m planning on running artix with swayfx on here, to really hammer the point that it’s just an art and academia machine

initial thoughts so far: it’s wonderful to use, it’s just my usb boot drive is holding it back. a word of warning if anyone wants to do a teardown: the tabs holding the cables going through the hinges are really easy to break, be careful when undoing the routing. for those who are wondering about the colors, they seem fine? i haven’t had issues with it, and the usi stylus i got as an interim has just worked. it feels responsive, maybe a bit slippery?

I’ve been using mine for digital art and animation for the last 12 days or so and In spite of my expectations it’s a fantastic art machine. The pen tech is on par with my big boy Huion tablet in every way. Just make sure you use the Icc profile generously provided by @BigT

They were a night and day difference for me for color accuracy.
