I got kinda tired of the disappointment about updates from the Batch 1 guild.
Black/gray and the fun colors are functionally separate batches. This way we can all update each other like the other guilds
So this can be the cooler batch 1 guild, lol.

Mine is Lavender, but with 10% less cool, because my fancy european layout doesnt come with the lavender touchpad.
Needless to say, I’m being oppressed.

Also, don’t you all feel sad for the poor no-fun black, gray, and silver users? (pay no attention to my black de-badged Thinkpad with not even a single sticker

Sure, they get their FWL12 sooner, but at what cost?

I seem to feel a need to appear boring, at least on the surface, as sadly too many take that as a sign of being professional and adult. 
I keep the fun just under that thin surface. 
I de-badge because I have an innate hatred of company advertising. I almost don’t care how much I like the products a company produces, I don’t keep their logos on my property unless I feel it benefits me.
I usually go out of my way to remove or cover logos, Framework gets a pass 
I do, but not as much as people with laptops from other brands.
The fw12 in black looks way cooler than most laptops imo.
But all the colors are on a different level, like good luck finding a laptop in bright pink and blue.
My guess is no earlier than mid-July, (so like July 16th probably.)
It sucks that we can’t color match. I usually run 2 type C and 2 type A, so I’m just going to use the extra type A cards I have for my 13.
I also plan to buy my own memory and storage. :]
I like the black accents on the grey, TBH.
I’m not bothered, but maybe vinyl skins would do the trick.

I’d be surprised if they didn’t at some point at least introduce matching type A and HDMI cards, since those are so popular.

I pre-ordered a iSage i3 model. I initially ordered a black i5 model and cancelled it.
Bringing my own RAM / SSD which I’ll order when my machine gets shipped. Hoping for 48GB / 2TB - can more than 2TB be found?
Ordered two USB C ports, a microSD, Ethernet, two USB A’s and an HDMI. Plus a power adapter.
Hoping for a screen upgrade in the future and maybe even better CPU so didn’t pay extra for the i5.
Eh; I was going to go all aluminum, which would’ve been pretty cool, then I saw the red and orange transparent cards, and I said fuck it, let’s do this. 
All I know is the Fw12 is only supposed to support 2tb drives, there could be 3tb drives. I haven’t seen any, though.
It’s not as much that it doesn’t support bigger drives but that there currently aren’t any. It’s ultimately a m-key m.2 slot so pretty much anything pcie will work there as long as you can physically fit it.
