- Black
- Gray
- Lavender
- Bubblegum
- Sage
Technically, I haven’t ordered one yet, as I am in the US. But ever since the first announcement, Sage has been and remains the plan. It seems I’m not alone in liking that color.
I chose gray because it looks the most compatible with the aluminum modules. I was a bit surprised to find that only the USB C modules come in color because I assumed that at least the USB A modules would color match the laptops. Maybe there’ll be more colored modules in June?
The other colors do look quite lovely though, especially sage.
We received this feedback from other community members as well, looks like there is demand for colored USB-A cards I’ll share this feedback internally.
Cheers mate
I haven’t ordered yet, as I’m waiting for reviews and the stylus to become available, at least, but I kinda like Bubblegum.
Bubblegum because my kids are obsessed with this color I still hope I can convince them of Sage and edit my order. I expected Bubblegum to have a few more fans, though.
It would be nice that there comes options for the other expension cards in the color of the ordered FW12. Maybe only as some special limited editions for some little extra money would be fine too. Or maybe some little extra to support the Hack Club. As I think that the most people don’t want to pay extra for the FW 12, but maybe they want to pay some extra for the cards if it is for the Hack Club.
I like lavender the most. It also matches well with my Logitech pop lavender keyboard. I love the translucent cards. I just orderd two cards: atomic purple and pink. It would be nice to have also translucent USB-A cards.
I was down to sage or grey, and ultimately went with sage. It’s not that often these days that I have tech I can truly treat as a toy and not need to look professional, so I’ll enjoy the fun color and stickering the heck out of the lid.
Nice

I’m surprised that black has the lowest percentage on the poll. I thought it would be the most popular option since it is the most “basic, standard, neutral or mature.”
well, yes, but also ‘boring and omni-present’ I can get a black laptop anywhere, I’ve had, not counting the FW12 that hasn’t shipped yet, 15 laptops over the last 19 years, most of them have been either black or silver, and mostly didn’t give me a choice…exceptions? one old HP that was ‘gold’ and one old dell that was blue…I don’t believe either of those gave me a choice either. I don’t mind black, but given a choice I want something different
Go Team Sage
Cheers!
