I don’t know if it has been asked already but does framework have plans to make a case for the FW12 mainboard? would be a cheaper alternative for those needing less power then the FW13 mainboards. Someone is likely to have made one ready to 3d print but I haven’t found any
I for one would like to see such a case, including a slot for a battery to use it as a mini web server with integrated UPS
well I do have a very beefy 3D printer that really wasn’t cheap and I’m about to get plenty of free time soon, surely I can try to prototype a case for it I suppose
it’s really too damn bad that there’s only one M.2 slot on the board though, I’ve been looking into making myself some sorta hand built router/firewall with some M.2/PCIe adapter for a couple cards, a single M.2 is just not going to cut it though…
