FW13 AMD 7840u +Ubuntu 24.04 sometimes won't shutdown

Every now and then (every 3rd or 5th shutdown), the computer doesn’t turn off. It either stays on the shutdown screen circling or freezes at the shutdown screen. I eventually have to hold the power button down to turn it off.

I also have it connected to a Anker A8392 USB-C Dock+power (up to 100 watts).

Anyone else having this issue?

Update: I have since removed splash and quiet from the grub config so I could see where it was stopping, but I have not had the problem since. If it happens again I’ll add more details here.
