Long overdue reply, but I appreciate your feedback!
Unfortunately, I have tried with a USB-C 3.1 cable, a Thunderbolt 4 cable, and a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 cable. None of which worked.
FW support came back and said:
” We recommend using an external monitor with a dedicated power supply, as the Framework Laptop cannot simultaneously provide both power and display output. “
Had I known, I may have altered my decision to purchase the FW13, so I was pretty disappointed to figure that out.
