Higher Capacity Expansion Cards?

Are there any plans to make an expansion card with more capacity than 1TB? Since the release of the original set of expansion cards, 2230 NVME’s have become commonplace and many of them are of a single chip design, which would be perfect for sticking in an expansion card (to be clear: the single chip on a custom board, not the full nvme itself).

I’m guessing this is how the current expansion cards are made, however we now have 2TB 2230’s as well, and I’d imagine 4TB being possible with the use of two.

I don’t have any more insight into what Framework is planning than any other random customer, but I’d be very surprised if they didn’t plan to add increased-capacity expansion cards in the future. It seems like an obvious idea to me.

I would be interested in a 2 TB.
