How to get the battery to suppy power even if the PSU is plugged in

Hi,

I have a FW16, without the dGPU.
Is there any way to get it to draw enough power such that it pulls power from the PSU and the battery at the same time?

I am trying to test my own efforts at fixing the EC code that does the battery charging / discharging, but I don’t have a dGPU, so I cannot test that bit.

The only reason the FW 16 does this with the dGPU plugged in is because the psu can’t provide enough power to run the hardware at max utilization. The PSU can provide enough power without the dGPU installed. I’m not sure what problem you’re trying to solve.

I found a way to do it.
I just use a low 25 WATTS charger, and then stress-ng. It start sucking power from both PSU and battery.
