Hi, i have a request for the FW team to think about how to make it possible, because it will be nice to have it
i have a few post already where I play with cooling and last week I added a fan direct over the GPU to help cooling the vrms in princip because despite having the wc on both heat pipes at the back the temps are near 70 in Germany, the result is nice, temps lower between 4 and 7 C (61/64C hotspot) in hot stop.
Talking about the GPU heatpipes, it seems to me that they are not enough (maybe making them a few mm thicker?) because temps are hight for wc, I have a 3x120mm x 5cm radiator, about 5m copper pipe and 10m hose (yes I wanted it to be silence) and all the metal parts (radiator, pipe, etc) are cold at the touch and is winter so room under 20C
The problem now is that the coil wining is very annoying, sounds like a cheap GPU, I belebe for the price I has to be silence
I also believe it needs more cooling for the parts that are not cooled or in contact with the heatpipes, for a gamer laptop is not rare to have many fans, and I also think the laptop need cooling that pas throw the chassis (rack server like) for all the components that generate heat, especially ram, it can have filtered intakes in the front (that is something that I am going to do, have done with my MacBook and was a huge improve) that way the keyboard shout also bee cooler. If adding fans is to complicated, maybe using airjets?
How much does having airjets instead of fans cost? is it possible to have a model like that? and use the space for other things, more slots, m.2 for expansion cards (SSD, npus, etc) or making it smaller?
P.S. I still want the openings for quick attaching water blocks
Edit: I just like to clarifie I am not saying “do it right now”, I just wanted to put it over the table, like a wishlist
