Would you be able to change the error message when secure boot fails? I spent a couple of days confused about what was going on. I noticed in the forum I’m not the only person who has tripped over this.
The current message I got was:
EFI USB Device (PNY USB 2.0 FD) boot failed.
I would have expected something like:
EFI USB Device (PNY USB 2.0 FD) secure boot signature verification failed.
Or at least something short:
EFI USB Device (PNY USB 2.0 FD) secure boot failed.
That would explain what is going on and make it easier to figure out what to change.
