Hello everyone,
I just received my FW13 Ultra Serie 1 and installed Ubuntu 24.10 on it.
My config includes
250Gb SSD internal storage
1Tb expansion card storage
when I look at my drives with lsblk, the internal drive is not detected. It was not detected either during the installation of ubuntu (I couldnt select it then)
Here is a screenshot
I don’t think I did a mistake during the ssd installation: it seemed properly inserted and the screwing seemed ok as well.
Did anyone else have the same problem?
can you see it in the BIOS?
You can enter bios by pressing F2 upon power on.
I do not see it in the BIOS. But it could be because I am not looking at the proper place. I’ll send pictures from my phone
Here are picture from the bios
And another one (I’m limited to 2 pics / message)

Something is wrong with the ssd. Did you insert it all the way to the slot?
Or if you can try with an other pc/laptop does it work there.
The drive can be dead, or also the motherboard might have a broken ssd slot.
You should contact fw support anyway
Thanks for your answer. I contacted the support.
To be sure I also tried to remove and then reinsert the ssd without any improvements.
If you have another laptop, please try checking if the SSD works. What model of SSD are you using with the Framework?
Then it is going to be between the BIOS, and the hardware (either mainboard or your SSD itself).
Do you have different SSDs to test?
I’ll try it on a friend’s FW13 tomorrow and let you guys know.
The SSD is a WD_BLACK SN770 NVMe - M.2 2280 - 250 Gb
