I have one of the original Framework 13 (Sept 2021) and would like to replace my mainboard with the new Pro mainboard. Is there a guide showing me how and what additional parts I need?

thanks, confusing, I will have to look closely.

If i am replacing the original mainboard with the pro, why am I removing the LPCAMM 2 memory and cover? Does this mainboard fit in the original lower case?

Thanks for your feedback! You can skip the memory removal process, that would only be used if you were switching Mainboards that both used LPCAMM2. Yes, your Mainboard will fit in the Laptop 13 chassis. Let me know if you run into any other issues!

thanks, I also found the youtube showing Nirav Patel doing just this upgrade. The link you gave me shows each step and he confirmed that I don’t need any other parts. Now I am torn between trying to save some cash and getting a complete new Pro. I will let you know how I make out. thanks for your continued help
