Is there an “Input Cover” (not Kit) gen2?

Hi folks,

I just got my FW13 Ryzen 7040. While it shipped with 2.8K display & camera gen2, it appears the Input Cover Kit is gen1. Anticipating this, in addition I also got a gen2 keyboard. However, now I wonder if I should’ve maybe ordered an entire Input Cover Kit gen2.. Is there a difference between Input Cover (not Kit, i.e. not considering keyboard) for gen2 vs gen1?

Hi @Denis_L You shouldn’t have any issues using the Gen 2 Keyboard with a Gen 1 Input Cover. The only discernible change was to the ‘wide’ keys on the keyboard itself.

Thank you, sounds good! I was also curious if there was perhaps as difference in touchpad v1 vs v2, but sounds like not?
