Yes, engrave, print, or label in any other way.
If it was also showing the capabilities of ports (e.g. USB4, 240W charging etc) it would be even better.

I think this is a sound suggestion. Probably 6 stickers to accompany the mainboard with (because slot capability will depend on the mainboard generation), be it a DIY/non-DIY or standalone mainboard. And the stickers just need to be in the box, not stuck on at the factory. Let the end-user decide if they want to stick them to the vacant slots (minimizing factory assembly steps)
