Kali live usb not booting

Hello, I have a batch 5 diy and when it arrived I immediately installed windows 10 on it. Recently I created an allocated partition and now I am dual booting Ubuntu. I tried flashing Kali live AMD 64 bit to a flash drive with a 9 gig persistent partition but it my laptop won’t boot into it or recognize it has a live cd plugged in. I was able to get it to boot on another laptop but I still won’t boot on my framework. If anyone can help with this, please let me know.

Check that secure boot is turned off in the bios. I did the same thing today, and I know better, I just spaced out about it.

That worked and I did look for that but I didn’t look hard enough the first time. Thanks
