Usually the backlit keyboard led’s work. nice.
sometimes they turn off (not me) and i can’t turn them back on. I think i end up shuting down then turning back on again, to restore.
i know fn+space toggles it on and off. doesn’t work.
is the fn key maybe disabled accidently and a reboot re-enables it?
edit:
- on mains power
- win 11 with latest everything crap
I have been able to use the only via (vial?) applet at keyboard.frame.work to get the keyboard lights going without having to reboot.
You can also reboot the keyboard by unlocking and pulling the trackpad slightly out, then pushing it back in.
What is this app, you speak of?
Surely this is not an acceptable answer to the problem I’m not about to start pulling apart my hardware …
(technically - sounds like it would work, though!)
WAIT WHAT?! this is a thing?
wow! how the? My browser has the ability to detect my keyboard -AND- connect/control it?
This is so kewl!
Also - how did I not know about this? There was no mention of this on their newbie getting started info anywhere
Ok - so using this ‘app’, how can i toggle the backlight on and off? Normally it’s with Fn+space but how do I do that “in the app” ?
