Keyboard shortcuts Framework 13

I have a Framework 13 (AMD Ryzen™ 5 7640U) and run Fedora 44 on it. So far everything is great. I really like the Laptop! Had to fix some AMD-related issues (VRR leads to freezing, colors get distorted when not on performance mode), but that worked out by making some changes to the GRUB boot loader settings.

One thing i cannot seem to fix, however: I changed the keyboard shortcut for the “Audio media” key (the little Framework wheel key, F12) to open the settings instead of the audio player. But it simply won’t do it consistently. It always says the key is bound to the “Settings” launcher but it still opens Rhythmbox most of the time (it has very occasionally worked in the past but it never sticks). Does anyone have a solution for this? Thanks in advance!

It sounds like the key triggers reliably, but Fedora is misinterpreting it? You might get a better reply if you ask on Fedora support channels?

(and, I can relate … changing Gnome keyboard shortcuts can get very weird)
