I had a rather interesting event occur at my work, which I thought I would share.
Someone from ETS, a company that does our IT where I work, noticed my Framework and said to me, “Nice Framework, by the way.” He also indicated he might want to own one.
The title does say the every day person. Perhaps, the every day techy person. However, this is the first time someone basically just walking in, took notice of my Framework and commented on it as being a Framework.
The way I tend to use my Framework most of the time does make it obvious that it is a Framework, as I have my braille display sitting to the right of the Framework, which is on the table with its lid closed, so the Framework logo is quite visible to others. For anyone interested, the braille display I use is the Mantis Q40, because it has a QWERTY keyboard.
