7640U series with 32gb of ram and 1tb SSD

i was using my laptop normally until the laptop suddenly shut down, which i thought it was because it ran out of battery since it was 2% despite it was still charging, so i left it off to charge, but it still would not turn on, i tried draining the components by removing the battery, which it didnt work, but red light WAS flickering when i plugged the battery in, which i might suspect it might still be on despite the power button LED being off and unresponsive

i am unable to access my laptop, nor thr operating system because how the laptop does not turn on at all

Remove the SSD and remove 1 RAM stick, can you boot into the BIOS?

still nothing, does not turn on at all, no fan spinning, there was some life, i was able to get it to blink codes and it was able to detect if the input cover was on or not

You don’t need input cover, there’s a switch on the upper right as the power button.
Try moving the RAM sticks to the other slot, press the power button and wait for a few minutes. If not working, remove the battery and try powering on again. If still no avail, contract support as the mainboard could be faulty

yep, ram stick trick didnt work, i tried powering the laptop without a battery using AC, but that just leaves the mainboard to the reset mode

Using AC without battery doesn’t automatically go into reset mode. Could you elaborate or post a picture about this?

when i remove the battery and charge it using a battery, the LED blinks orange(red?) and blue multiple times before it starts playing a sequence of red and green lights, presumably the blink codes to tell whats wrong

heres the video of which the LED lights up

i now know why now, one of the pin (the right-most) of the battery connector is bent, however standalone mode should still boot despite the battery issue
